Fall Vision Launch

This past Sunday, we launched the fall vision. This will serve as our rallying theme for the next several months.

The vision is this: We are becoming the people and the church ready to gather the harvest. Or simply put: Get Ready.

We are launching two key initiatives to help us ‘Get Ready’: Every Home Prayed For and Every Person at a Table.

If you weren’t able to join us yesterday, I would encourage you to follow the link above to listen to the message.

You will hear more details about all of this in the coming weeks, but this Sunday we will launch into Every Home Prayed for and encourage you to pray for your neighbours. More to come on this on Sunday!

Building Use During Renovations

With heating renovations underway, parts of our church building may be unavailable at times during the week. For everyone’s safety, please check with Matt Condran before planning to use the building for ministry. Some rooms and areas will be closed while contractors are at work.

Congregational Meeting Sept 21

There will be a brief congregational meeting on Sunday, September 21, immediately following the worship service. The purpose of this meeting is to consider those who are seeking membership at Berwick Baptist Church. All members are encouraged to stay and participate.

What We Are Celebrating

Kickoff Sunday!

What a Sunday we had yesterday as we gathered for Kickoff Sunday, celebrated what God has been doing, shared a vision for the upcoming season and then shared an amazing community time following the worship service.

Thank you for coming out and sticking around for the party! It was a beautiful start to the fall ministry season.

We are celebrating that God is at work!

Regional Prayer Gathering

Last evening, Evan and I (Caleb) had the chance to travel to Lower Sackville for a regional prayer gathering with Pray NS. This was a gathering of churches in the Halifax region and beyond, called specifically to pray for the church in Halifax. This is the first of a string of gatherings in each region of Nova Scotia. The next gathering will be here in the Annapolis Valley.

We are celebrating that the church is alive in Nova Scotia, that there is unity among churches, and that a culture of prayer is developing. Furthermore, Evan and I were encouraged by other leaders in the region who prayed for us and supported us in our efforts as a church here in Berwick.

Please know that the broader church in Nova Scotia is praying for us!

One Prayer This Week

Pray for the launch of the Fall Vision. Pray that God would continue to lead and direct us as we Get Ready. Pray that we would lean into the two main initiatives. Pray for God’s leading for what it looks like for you personally to ‘Get Ready’ this fall.
