What’s Coming Up

Church Family Meeting – 25 October 2025 @ 6pm

A few months ago, we had our first church family meeting about some constitutional changes we are proposing. The Pastors and Deacons have been continuing to work behind the scenes on revising our constitution. We are now ready to move forward with this important development. So, on 25 October at 6pm we are asking you to come out and be a part of this discussion once again. Prior to that meeting, we will send out the draft of the revised constitution and a summary page of the changes we are proposing. Please make an effort to be at our family meeting on the 25th!

Alpha – 19 October @ 5pm

We want to continue to encourage you to pray for homes in Berwick. Another part of our Fall Vision is running Alpha—a church discipleship and outreach program! I am pleased to share that we have a few people registered already, as well as several people we have volunteered to help! If you are interested in registering, please do so at the first link below. If you are also interested in volunteering, please reach out to one of the Pastors. Alpha is the place to “explore the questions of life, faith, and meaning.” Each night together will include good food, a video, and discussion. We hope you will join us!

Preservice Prayer – Every Sunday @ 10am

We were very pleased to have 8 people join us for preservice prayer! We gathered together in the parlour and prayed. Our prayer time followed the P.R.A.Y acronym that we used in our week of prayer booklets. We started by pausing and praising God. We then read and reflected on a portion of the Psalms. Next, we prayed for our Sunday morning service, as well as other items. Finally, we concluded by yielding to God—to his will and his ways. We would love for you to join us as we seek to establish and build on a foundation of prayer!

What We Are Celebrating

Continued Progress – Church Renovations

We want to take a moment to praise God for the continued progress with our church renovation project. White Rock started in earnest last week and is making great progress. Heatpumps are up in both the Annex and the Sanctuary. Please continue to pray for this project, and for safety for all those who are in and out of the building.

Special Offering

Yesterday at our service, we took up a special offering for those impacted by the wildfires in our area. We are pleased to share that, so far, we have received $700! Praise God for this response and may these resources be a blessing to those in need.

Remember Caleb’s message: whether you are searching or stumbling, Jesus is worth everything you got. Pray that each of us would experience Jesus as the treasure of our hearts!
