Church Family Meeting – 25 Oct. @6pm

We will be meeting at the church on 25 Oct. at 6pm to talk once more about our proposed constitutional changes. I know what some of you are thinking: boring! But just wait a minute. Although this might not be the most flashy thing to be discussing on a Saturday evening, it really is important. This document is all about how we structure our life together so that we can best be used by God to advance his Kingdom here in Berwick. So, we are asking that you please attend. This is your opportunity to discuss any questions you have about our proposals. We will make a strong effort to keep it as brief as we can. Click the links below for all the details. Every Home Prayed For – 1 Nov. @10am

This fall, we are getting ready! We believe that God is at work, and we are praying and believing for more. Our big fall initiative is to pray for every home in Berwick. We know that some of you have been doing this—and that is awesome! It is exciting to hear how God has been blessing these efforts already. Part of our plan all along was to meet and pray for homes together. Our first group effort will be happening on 1 Nov. @10am. We would love for you to attend! Valley Night of Prayer – 9 Nov. @6pm

One of our priorities is to be a praying church! We have been seeking to lean into prayer already in a few ways: week of prayer, summer prayer nights, and our pre-service prayer time (10am every Sunday morning). Well, we are excited to tell you about an opportunity that is happening at our church: Pray Nova Scotia will be holding one of their regular prayer gatherings at Berwick Baptist Church! It will be a prayer event for the whole Valley, and it is happening at our church—isn’t that awesome! We really want to encourage you to attend this important time of prayer. Let’s show the Valley that we are seeking to be a people of prayer by and through our attendance at his event—would that our house would be known as a house of prayer! Please spread the word far and wide. We want Christians and Church leaders from across the Valley to attend, so mark it on your calendars and plan to be in the room! What We Are Celebrating

Alpha Has Begun!!!

This week, we are celebrating the beginning of Alpha! We hosted our first Alpha session on Sunday night with pizza and ice cream, and we were delighted to have nearly 30 people present—praise God! One Two Prayers This Week

I’m going to be bold and ask you to pray for two things this week: Pray for our church family meeting this Saturday. Pray that it would be an open and honest discussion, and that we would leave the meeting united. I also want to ask you to pray for Alpha. Pray that God would use these times together to bring people who do not know him to faith, as well as to deepen the faith of those who already believe!
