Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up
Valley Night of Prayer – 9 Nov. 2025 @6pm
This is the week! This coming Sunday (9 Nov.), we will be hosting PrayNS for the Valley Night of Prayer. Once again, we want to encourage you to attend this important event. We are gathering to pray—to pray for a move of God in our time, in our region. We are expecting folks from throughout the Valley and beyond to be present. As this is happening in our building, we want to make sure we are there to pray! See you this Sunday evening at 6pm!
Business Meeting – 16 Nov. 2025
We announced this past Sunday that we will be having a church business meeting on 16 Nov. 25 directly following the Sunday morning worship service. This will be to vote on the proposed changes to our church constitution. As we shared on Sunday during the announcement, we have removed the policies from the proposed changes. This means that we will not be voting on anything to do with these policies at this time (the Child Protection Policy or the Marriage Policy). We will simply be voting on the constitution proper, which is reflected in the documents at the links below. We also shared how we will be building in a one-year review to see how the changes are functioning. What this means is this: if the changes go through, at or leading up to the Annual General Meeting in January 2027, we will review the changes and make any necessary adjustments at that time. Please reach out to a Pastor or a Deacon if you have any questions, and please be in prayer regarding this decision.
Janitor Position – Berwick Baptist Church
The Trustees are seeking applications for the position of Janitor for our church. The Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness of the church building. This is a flexible position that allows the successful applicant to make their own schedule. The pay is $700.00 per month. For those interested in this position, please reach out directly to our chair of the Trustee Board, Pat Jodrie at [email protected]

What We Are Celebrating
Every Home Prayed For
We want to celebrate our time of prayer this past Saturday. Together, we were able to pray for 166 homes in Berwick! Praise God! May each of those homes experience the blessing and peace of God. Thank you to everyone who came out to pray. If you were not able to make it, fear not! We are planning our second prayer walk for 15 Nov. 25. Mark your calendars and plan to be there!
Thank You!
The Pastors want to say a big thank you to our church family for your generosity that you expressed to us this past Sunday! Thank you for praying for us, and thank you for the generosity you expressed through your gifts to us. Thank you!

One Prayer This Week
Pray for the family of Jessie Lutz, a longtime member of our congregation. Jessie passed away on Thursday, 30 Oct. Her funeral service will be held at the White’s Family Funeral Home this coming Thursday, 6 Nov., at 2pm. Pray that the family will know peace and comfort during these days.
Talk soon,
Evan
