Membership Course

This Sunday, we are hosting a Membership Course at 3:30 pm in the Annex with supper to follow. The course is the first step in becoming a member of Berwick Baptist, which indicates our partnership in the gospel. The course will provide an opportunity to learn about our church and the process of membership. We would love to have you there!

Parenting Seminar

On Saturday, May 24th, from 9:00-10:30 am, we will be hosting a parenting seminar led by Kathleen Murphy of Norwood Counselling. If you haven’t met Kathleen, she is a Clinical Social Worker (MSW, RSW- Clinical Specialist) and part of Berwick Baptist! We are thrilled to have her lead this seminar and would encourage parents to attend. This session will introduce you to different models of parenting and then introduce a new framework with tangible steps and biblical principles.

Fellowship Table Volunteers

We are looking to create an updated volunteer schedule for the fellowship table. Each week we enjoy community time together over hot drinks and treats after the service, this is a vital part of our Sunday gatherings! In order to make this happen we need volunteers to bring food and help on Sundays. If you would be willing to be on this list please reply to this email to let us know!

What We Are Celebrating

Planning Baptisms

This past week during our staff meeting we had a discussion about beginning to plan baptisms for this summer. It was such an encouragement to go through the many names of people wanting to be baptized! We are celebrating the stories of growing relationships with Jesus that are behind these baptisms.

Renovation Project Approved

This Sunday, we met as a congregation and approved the heating renovation project as presented by the Renovation Committee. We are celebrating that with this approval, we are on our way to heating the building once again, and believe that through this step, we will see many people impacted by the love of Jesus in this place.

Thank you to each one of you who sought the Lord’s will on this decision. Also, a big thank you to the Renovation Committee and others who were involved with the project to this point for all the work that has been done.

One Prayer This Week

Pray for the Membership Course coming up on Sunday. Pray for each person who will take the course as they explore and discern membership here at Berwick Baptist.

Also, pray for one other person who you know that is part of Berwick Baptist church.
