Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up
Church Vote – This Sunday (15 March 2026)
Well, an apology is in order: we forgot about the scheduled church meeting that was supposed to happen after service on Sunday—for this, we are sorry. This Sunday, we will have a brief meeting directly following the worship service. We will be voting on the Financial Secretary position. Kenny and Esther Hatt have allowed their names to stand for this important role. Please make a point to be present—and please make a point to remind us to actually have the meeting!
21 Days of Prayer
Twenty-One Days of Prayer is now underway. We were delighted to see so many people out for the Prayer Night on Sunday that served as our 21 Days of Prayer kickoff. We hope and pray that you are finding your prayer guides spiritually enriching. It is pretty cool to think of all of us praying through the same guide and praying the same Psalm each day! May God bless our church during these 21 days and beyond! If you did not get your guide yet, we have several at the church. Feel free to stop by anytime and grab one. Just a reminder to join us in the Prayer Room! We had our first Prayer Room gathering this morning at 7am and we were delighted to have 7 people in attendance! Our next Prayer Room will be Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. See you there!
Child Dedication – 29 March
Children are a gift from God. Raising children in the faith is a significant responsibility. You probably know the saying, “It takes a village.” As Christians seeking to raise our kids in the faith, we could slightly modify this saying: “It takes a church.” Child dedication is an act in which we commit, before God, to raise our children in the faith. It is also a time when the congregation commits to support this endeavour. On 29 March, we will be setting some time aside during our service for Child Dedication. For those taking part, we will be having an information session the week before, on 22 March @4pm in the church parlour.
XY Men’s Conference – 17–18 April 2026
We are thrilled to be taking a group of men from Berwick Baptist to XY Conference this year. The XY Conference is a powerful gathering of men from across Atlantic Canada who want to grow in their faith and step into the life God has called them to lead. Over two days, men come together for worship, biblical teaching, and meaningful connection with other men pursuing Christ.
Dates: 17–18 April 2026
Location: Tidal Church, Moncton, NB
Who: Men (16 and up)
Registration Deadline: 28 March 2026

What We Are Celebrating
Prayer Night
We want to celebrate every time God’s people gather together to seek his face. So, we are celebrating our Prayer Night that took place on Sunday evening. We had 30+ in attendance! Praise God! This was the right way to kick-off 21 Days of Prayer.
Church Clean-Up
We are also celebrating our church clean-up day that took place on Saturday. We had nearly 30 people in attendance—and did they ever work hard! Thank you to all who came out to help (and those who could not make it due to sickness). Thank you to Ron for organizing this event. Lastly, thanks to Ruth and Linda for ensuring the whole group was well fed!

Here is a photo of all of us enjoying pizza together!

One Prayer This Week
Pray for the Prayer Room! Pray that people will show up to pray. Pray that each Prayer Room session will be honouring to good and good for his people!
Talk soon,
Evan
Berwick Baptist Church
P.S. We really want you to join us in the Prayer Room! Our next prayer room is tomorrow evening (Wednesday @7:30)! See you there!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
