What’s Coming Up

21 Days of Prayer

We are now in week two of 21 Days of Prayer! It is our hope and prayer that the sermon series on prayer, the daily prayer guide, and the Prayer Room have been positively impacting your life of prayer. John Calvin said that “prayer is the chief exercise of faith.” May these 21 days of prayer help you grow in prayer—stretch you in prayer—and form your heart into a heart of prayer. May it be so for each of us! If you haven’t made it to the Prayer Room yet, we would love to see you there. Our next Prayer Room is Wednesday (18 March) at 7:30pm. If you can’t make it to this time, we will be doing a Zoom Prayer Room on Thursday (19 March) at 12noon (click the Zoom link at the bottom of this Newsletter to join), and a mid-morning Prayer Room on Friday (20 March) at 10:30am. We really encourage you to join us for prayer in the Prayer Room!

Child Dedication

We will be having a time of child dedication on 29 March during our Sunday morning service. This coming Sunday, the 22nd of March at 4pm, those who have decided to have their child(ren) dedicated will be gathering in the church parlour to chat about what child dedication is and what the service will look like. If you are still considering whether-or-not you would like to be a part of this service, it is not too late. Please reach out to me (Evan) and plan to be at the information session this Sunday.

XY Men’s Conference – 17–18 April 2026

We are excited that several guys have already signed up for the XY Men’s Conference! This conference will be taking place in Moncton, NB, on 17–18 April. We will be taking a group of men from our church to this conference. If you are interested, check out the conference website at the first link below. If you would like to register, click the second link. The registration deadline is 28 March. If the finances are an issue, please reach out to us. We hope you can make it. We believe this will be an impactful time for the men of our congregation!

What We Are Celebrating

Prayer Room

The Prayer Room is an important part of our 21 Days of Prayer. This week, we are celebrating the Prayer Rooms from last week. We were delighted with the attendance. We want to celebrate every time God’s people gather to pray. Praise God! We want to encourage you to join us in the Prayer Room this week as well. During this time of prayer, we follow the daily prayer guide (the P.R.A.Y. acronym) but spread it out to about an hour or so. Our next time is Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. See you in the Prayer Room!

Financial Secretary Position Filled

We also want to celebrate that our Financial Secretary position has been filled (we also want to celebrate that we remembered to have the meeting!!!). Kenny and Esther Hatt were voted into this position on Sunday by the congregation. Praise God! Thank you, Kenny and Esther!

One Prayer This Week

Pray for Esther and Kenny Hatt as they step into the role of Financial Secretary. And while you are at it, why not pray for all of our Deacons. Pray that God will use each of them to further the advance of His Kingdom right here in Berwick!
