Berwick Baptist Weekly | June 22-28
Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up
Community Block Party
This Friday is our annual Community Block Party, and we are pumped! The event will run from 4-7 pm and we will have a bouncy castle, cookie decorating, lawn games, BBQ, snacks and more! We hope you will join us and invite your friends and neighbours.
We are still seeking a few more volunteers, so if you can help, please respond to this email to let us know.
Evan starts full-time
Evan has officially returned to full-time ministry at our church as of yesterday, June 22nd! We are thrilled that this moment has finally arrived, following many months of transition.
As you see Evan around, be sure to welcome him back into this new full-time role warmly.
Summer Day Camps
This summer, we will be offering two separate camps headed up by our summer student Keera Best. Each camp will run for three Saturdays from 9:00-11:30 and is for elementary-aged kids (Primary-Grade 5). The July camp will be Sports Camp and August an Arts camp. Day camps will take place Saturday mornings on July 5,12,19, and August 2,9,16.
If you have a kid interested in attending, be on the lookout for a registration form soon.
Also, if you might be able to volunteer at this event please get ahold of Keera: [email protected]

What We Are Celebrating
Induction of Evan & Caleb
What a fantastic time together last evening as we celebrated the induction of Evan and me as pastors of our church. The Spirit of God was among us as we worshipped, prayed, heard from scripture and committed to one another in ministry. Evan, Andrew and I are leaving this evening feeling encouraged and full of faith for what God is doing among us.
Thank you again to each one of you who were there last evening to celebrate with us and officially welcome us to ministry here. I also would like to thank the Women’s Auxiliary for the lovely reception they hosted!

Week of Glow has begun!
As I sit here writing this, I hear the lovely sound of many children in the church building. This is a regular occurrence each week during Glow, however, this week it will happen Monday-Thursday as we are finishing off the year with a whole week of Glow. We are celebrating the ministry of Glow, which brings children and their families into our building, allowing us to build relationships with them each week through this program.

One Prayer This Week
Pray for the Community Block Party is happening this Friday. Pray specifically that we would make solid connections that lead to life change as people encounter Jesus.
Talk soon,
Caleb
