Berwick Baptist Weekly | July 27-Aug 2

Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up

August Arts Camp

Arts Camp starts this Saturday! The camp will run for three Saturdays from 9:00-11:30 am. During the camp, there will be a craft, bible lessons, songs and preparation of a play to be performed on the last day of the camp.

Front-Entry Updates

Work will begin at the front entry and side entry by the lift this week. As part of the heating renovation project, this space will be insulated, and we will take the opportunity to provide some cosmetic and flow upgrades to this important space in our building, which is our first impression.

Summer Seek Prayer Night- Bless Berwick

On Sunday, August 10th, at 6 pm, we will gather for our second Summer Seek Prayer night. These are a series of prayer nights throughout the summer, where we gather simply to seek the Father together and draw near to Him.

The theme for this night will be Bless Berwick, where we will specifically be praying for our town and region. For those who are able, we will go out on a prayer walk as part of the evening.

What We Are Celebrating

Baptism Sunday!

Yesterday was an amazing day in the life of our church. We hope that you feel encouraged and strengthened in your faith after seeing seven people be baptized. I know that for me personally, this was an incredibly uplifting day; I pray the same was true for you.

Congratulations to Jen, Brian, Beverly, Niall, Melissa, Chad and Angie on your baptism!

The Lord is so good, and the ways He has been at work in each of these people’s lives were evident and beautiful. Praise God!

Food Pantry BBQ

We are also celebrating a successful Drive-Thru BBQ last week! We were able to provide lunch for many people while also using the opportunity to raise funds to support the Food Pantry. This money will enable us to continue generously blessing those in need of food through the ministry of the Food Pantry.

Thank you to each person who helped make the Drive-Thru BBQ possible. And also, thank you to each person who came out and bought lunch so that others could benefit from the Food Pantry.

One Prayer This Week

Pray for those who were baptized this week. Pray that they would continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
