Baptisms This Sunday!

This coming Sunday, July 27th, is baptism Sunday. Plan to join us as we celebrate this important milestone in the lives of 7 people during the Sunday service and the baptism to follow at Loon Lake.

The baptism service will begin at 2:00 PM and be held at the Charton family cottage. The address is 140 Owl Lake Drive, Aylesford, NS, B0P1C0.

Directions: Owl Lake Drive is off Aylesford Road after Lake George and the road to Lake George Beach. A few minutes after you pass the road to Lake George Beach, there is a guardrail on the left-hand side of the Aylesford Road. At the end of the guard rail, you will see the sign for Owl Lake Drive on the left. 140 is the eighth cottage driveway on the right as you drive in. There is a sign that says Charlton Family.

Kingswood Camp Sponsorship

Would you be willing to donate to help send a kid to camp this summer?

We have received an additional request for financial assistance to send two children to camp. Camp is often a life-changing experience, providing time to make new friends and encounter God in a fresh way.

If you are able to provide any assistance, please let me know by replying to this email. Any amount makes a difference, and we’ll pool together whatever is given to cover the costs. 

Drive-Thru BBQ for Food Pantry

This Thursday (July 24th), we are hosting a drive-thru BBQ lunch at the church from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All proceeds from the lunch will benefit the Food Pantry. Come on out and grab some lunch!

If you are able to help out during the lunch or by donating some supplies (i.e, ice, buns, etc.), please get in touch with Pat Jodrie.

Heating Renovation Update & Workday

I've included an update regarding the heating renovation at the link below. We are thrilled that these important renovations are moving forward.

Workday this Saturday: If you are looking to contribute to the project, consider joining us this Saturday, July 26th, at 9 AM to help remove some scrap metal from the church basement.

What We Are Celebrating

Wedding, Anniversary & Vow Renewal

This past weekend was filled with new and renewed marriage vows in our community. We heard about Wayne and Lyn Sanford celebrating thier 50th wedding anniversary in church. On Friday, Niall and Jaime were married here at the church! Congrats to them! And on Saturday, Chad and Angie Dorey renewed their vows. Congrats to Chad and Angie!

It is so wonderful to get to celebrate these events as a church.

Vacation for Andrew

We are celebrating that Andrew has been able to head out for a well-deserved vacation! Andrew will return to work on August 18th.
