Open House at John and Maureen’s

We have been praying for John and Maureen Murphy as John has had some serious health concerns lately and has been in hospital. We are praising God that he has been able to return home and joined us for worship yesterday!

John and Maureen are hosting an open house get-together this Saturday at their home. Johnny would love to have you drop by.

Their address is 61 Ronald Avenue, Cambridge, and you are invited to stop in this Saturday anytime after 2 pm into the evening.

Week of Prayer

April 6th- 13th will be our first-ever week of prayer. If you can believe it that is just two weeks away! This will be a ‘call to action,’ if you will, where we intentionally practice prayer after our series Prayer Q&R.

There will be a daily prayer guide that will take you through a time of prayer each day with specific prompts as well as times of corporate prayer on Zoom and a worship and prayer night.

We are excited to see what God will do as we seek him together as Berwick Baptist Church.

Renovation Committee- Proposal to Ef-NS

The renovation committee has successfully submitted a proposal to Efficiency NS regarding potential rebates around the heating renovation to our building. We hope to hear back in the next few weeks.

As the renovation committee receives a response about the rebates available to us they will report back to the congregation for communal discernment about next steps.

Please be in prayer around this process, specifically asking God’s will to be done.

What We Are Celebrating

Membership Course

Yesterday afternoon we had a fantastic time at the Membership Course. We had 8 people join for the course which is the first step towards membership or a great opportunity to learn more about our church for current members. We are thrilled to see people taking steps towards membership to indicate that they are all-in with this community and what God is doing here at Berwick Baptist Church.

Stories of Prayer

We are hearing that through our focus on prayer, God is meeting people in new ways and that there is growth happening! We have heard several stories about people who are being intentional in prayer in new ways. Keep leaning into prayer in this season!

One Prayer This Week

Pray for the week of prayer coming up April 6th-13th.
