What’s Coming Up

Week of Prayer- Next Week!

Our first-ever Week of Prayer is coming up next week (April 6-13)! This is a week of corporate prayer where we will intentionally seek God in prayer together. This will be a week of leaning into the practice of prayer and we hope it will encourage you to put into practice what we have been discussing together in our weekly worship gatherings.

There are several ways to be involved; we encourage you to plan to engage in each next week.

1. Daily Prayer Guide- This coming Sunday we will have copies of a daily prayer guide available that will have different prayer prompts each day as we pray and discern God’s will together. We will also email a digital copy for those not at the church on Sunday!

2. Zoom Prayer Times- Three times throughout the week, we will gather on Zoom to pray together. These will be times to pray for specific themes and areas. Zoom Link.

   1. Monday Evening- 8 pm

   2. Wednesday midday- 12 pm

   3. Friday morning- 6:30 am

3. Night of Prayer and Worship—To end the week, we will gather for a special evening of prayer and worship. We hope this will be a celebratory end to a great week. It will happen Sunday, April 13th, at 6 p.m.

Holy Week- Easter Celebrations

In just a few short weeks, Easter will be upon us. We are looking forward to celebrating Holy Week as a church with several gatherings, including a Maundy Thursday service, Good Friday service, Sunrise Service at Burlington Baptist, and a special Easter Sunday worship gathering.

Join us as we celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Jesus!

Change of Space for Sunday Gatherings

Beginning on Good Friday, we will have a change of space for our worship gatherings at Berwick Baptist church as we will move upstairs to the sanctuary.

We are excited that for the last several months, the space in the Annex has been reaching capacity, and with the weather warming up, we are now able to move up to the sanctuary in order to accommodate more people in the space.

These are exciting times for our church!

What We Are Celebrating

Welcome Baby Gillingham

We are celebrating with Karyn, Jordan and their family on the safe arrival of their baby boy this past Sunday. Congratulations! The Gillingham family has recently started coming to Berwick Baptist, and we are thrilled to give them a warm welcome in with a meal train.

Open House

A great time of friendship, fellowship and encouragement was had at the open house hosted by Johnny and Maureen this past Saturday. Thanks to Johnny and Maureen for hosting and thanks to each person who came out to be together as a church family!

One Prayer This Week

Pray for kids’ ministry at and through our church.

• Pray for Sunday morning programs. For God to raise up leaders in these programs. Pray for each child that comes that they would know Jesus.

• Pray for Glow, our afterschool program. Pray that God will work in the lives of the families who attend.
