Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up
Choir Practice – 18 February @6:30pm
Our choir gearing up for the Easter service. They are beginning weekly practice tomorrow evening at 6:30pm, which will continue weekly until Easter. The choir will lead a piece on Good Friday as well as Easter Sunday. If you would like to be part of the Choir, please reach out to Lynn Charlton at [email protected]
Church Clean-Up Day – 7 March @9am
With all of the work on the building, a clean-up day is necessary. Thank you to everyone who signed-up on Sunday. We will be meeting on 7 March from 9am until noon. We will divide up into teams and tackle different parts of the building. After the work is done, we will enjoy some pizza together for lunch. We would love to see you there! You can sign-up the old fashion way at church, or you can click the link below.
Child Dedication Service – 29 March
We have decided to set aside some time on Palm Sunday (29 March) for child dedication. This is a time when parents commit, before God and the congregation, to raise their children up in the faith. It is also a time for the congregation to commit to supporting this good endeavour. If you are interested in being part of this special time in our service on 29 March, please reach out to one of the pastors. We will be meeting once before the service for an information session and to walk through what this moment in our service will look like.

What We Are Celebrating
Powerful Worship Service on Sunday!!!
We have heard positive feedback from our worship service this past Sunday. Seven people came forward for prayer—Praise God! This is something worth celebrating. Pray that each time we gather that we would all have an encounter with our Living God!

One Prayer This Week
During our prayer time during our Sunday service, we prayed for Tumbler Ridge. I would encourage each of us to continue to hold this community up in prayer as they seek to move forward after the tragedy that unfolded in their town.
Talk soon,
Evan

P.S. Don’t forget about Morristown Baptist Church’s Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper today from 4:30pm–6:30pm. All proceeds go to Kingswood Camp. As we enter into the season of Lent, we also want to remind you that we will be starting our 21-Days of Prayer on 8 March 2026. Keep an eye out for our prayer guide!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
