Christmas Eve and Christmas Letters

On Sunday, we had the 2025 Christmas Letters ready for pick up! If you have not yet received yours, be sure to swing by the church and pick it up! This year, we are asking each of you to consider two invitations: the first is to make sure you are present in the room for our Christmas Eve service, and to consider inviting a friend or a neighbour to come with you; second, we are asking each of you to prayerfully consider a special Christmas offering. Please consider these invitations, and pray that God will use this Christmas Eve service in a powerful way in the lives of those who will show up!

Memorial Christmas Angels – 21 Dec. 2025

This year, we will once again have the opportunity to honour our loved ones through the Berwick Baptist Memorial Tree Angels. Each Angel decoration is $10, which you can pay directly to Lynnell or e-transfer to the church at [email protected] (please specify “Memorial Tree”). We will take some time in our service on 21 Dec to decorate the memorial tree with the Angels. All of the proceeds go to our benevolence fund (called the Good Samaritan Fund), which we use to help those in need in our church and in our community. If you have any questions, please reach out to Lynnell or one of the Pastors.

Every Home Prayed For

Have you checked out the Live Prayer Map recently? It is encouraging to see all of the homes that have been prayed for during that last couple of months—as we seek to till the soil of our town for what God is doing and will do. If you take a look at the map, you will also see what homes and streets have not yet been prayed for. Would you consider taking on some routes and praying for these homes? If you are interested in this, speak with Caleb. He has some maps of routes that you could complete, as we seek to pray for every home in Berwick!

What We Are Celebrating

Celebrating 7 Sessions of Alpha!

This past Sunday evening, we concluded Alpha for 2025. We were able to complete 7 sessions together. We will continue with Alpha is the New Year! A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who have helped with food and set up! Please continue to pray that God would use Alpha in a powerful way in our church and in our community.

One Prayer This Week

Pray for our Christmas Eve service. Would you consider praying each day for our up-coming Christmas Eve service? Like Easter, this is a time of year that many folks come to church who normally do not attend. Pray that our service would be a powerful demonstration of the God we worship and serve, and that lives would be changed forever!
