Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up
Christmas Angels – 21 December 2025
This Sunday, we will be taking time during our Sunday morning service to hang the memorial angels. This is a way to honour and remember our loved ones during this time of year. We recognize the joy of the season and all we have to celebrate. At the same time, we recognize that this time of year can be difficult for many. The Christmas Memorial Angels is a way that we can recognize this, as we remember and honour our loved ones who are no longer with us. Each Angel is $10 and all of the proceeds go directly to our Good Samaritan Fund. If you would still like to be part of this, please contact Lynnell at [email protected]. If you would like to send in your $10 dollars via e-transfer ([email protected]), add a note that it is for the memorial angels.
Two Christmas Invites
Christmas Eve and Christmas are fast approaching. We want to remind you of the two invites that were included in the Christmas letter. The first invitation was a double invite: to make sure you are here for our Christmas Eve service and to prayerfully consider inviting someone else to this service as well. The second invite was to prayerfully consider a Christmas offering. We will take a moment this Sunday to pray about this second invitation. May God bless each of you as you consider these two invites!
Annual Business Meeting – 24 January 2026
Our Annual Business Meeting (ABM) will be on 24 January 2026 (storm date is 31 Jan. 2026). We will gather for a potluck meal at 12noon, the business meeting to start at 1pm. Please make an effort to attend. This meeting is where we make significant decisions for the whole year, and beyond. We vote on our budget, and this year we will also vote in our first round of Elders in line with our revised constitution. For those of you who are responsible for a report, please have them to Rhonda Connell by 11 January (send them to this email address: [email protected]). The booklets will be ready on 18 January.

What We Are Celebrating
Every Home Prayed For
Over the last few months as we have been seeking to pray for every home in Berwick, we have heard some awesome stories of how God is using our efforts. This past Sunday, there was a gentleman at our worship service because of a conversation that came about through this initiative. Praise God! Once again, I will remind you that if you are praying for homes to not forget to register at the first link below. Also, check out the live prayer map at the second link.
Stories of Invites to Our Christmas Eve Service
Caleb shared with me that he has heard some stories of people stepping out and inviting people to our Christmas Eve service! We want to celebrate every invite! Please don’t forget to invite someone to Christmas Eve. We can invite, and then leave the results to God!

One Prayer This Week
Pray for Kayla Colford. Kayla will be preaching this Sunday. Pray that God would calm any nerves and that He would speak through her is a powerful way!
Talk soon,
