Berwick Baptist Weekly | August 24-30
Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up
Important Update – Baptism
Plans have charged regarding Dana Sanford’s baptism. We will not be having a public baptism at Kingwood Camp this coming Sunday. We will provide more details on Sunday morning at our worship service.
Fall Kick-off Sunday + BBQ – 7 Sept. 2025
Please mark your calendar and be in the room for our Fall Kick-Off on Sunday! On September 7, we’ll gather as a church family to launch into a new season of ministry and share our fall vision for Berwick Baptist. This is a day to celebrate what God is doing, look ahead with faith, and step forward together. We have also decided to add a BBQ to the fun! You won’t want to miss it!
Vacation Update
Caleb and family are enjoying their second week of vacation. Pray that this week will be restful and relaxing for them! Caleb will be back Tuesday, 2 Sept. 2025.

What We Are Celebrating
The Continued Work on our Church Building
As I write this, I hear Matt and Ron hard at work on the church building renovations. We want to celebrate the work that has been done already and pray for the work that is yet to come. It has been good to see all the people that stop by to help out—it was particularly good to be at the church a couple Friday’s ago to see the group of people that helped carry in a big delivery of materials. Many hands have been involved helping out so far—and we say THANK YOU!
Food for Fall Kick-off Sunday BBQ
During our Sunday gathering, we put out a sign-up sheet for hot dogs, hot dog and hamburger buns, and cookies. Every slot was filled except three packs of hamburger buns! What a great response. THANK YOU to everyone who signed up to bring something!

One Prayer This Week
Please continue to pray for all the people impacted by the fire at Long Lake. Pray for all those fighting the fire, as well also all those who had to evacuate. And, please pray for rain.
Talk soon,
Evan
Berwick Baptist Church
P.S. We really want you to pray that the fire at Long Lake will soon be extinguished!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
