What’s Coming Up
New Volunteer Role: Safety Team
We’re launching a new Safety Team to help create a secure and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
This team will serve during Sunday gatherings by keeping an eye on entrances, being available in case of emergencies, and helping us care well for our church family in practical ways.
If you’re calm under pressure, attentive, and would like to serve in this way, we’d love to talk with you. Let us know you’re interested by replying to this email or speaking with one of the pastors and we will explore if this is the right fit for you!
🎶 Sunday Song Preview: Christ Be Magnified
We’ll be closing our service this Sunday with a song that might be new to some of us.
Take a few minutes this week to listen and become familiar with it. It’s a simple way to come ready to worship together and reflect on what it means to make Jesus the focus of our lives.
🧹 Church Custodian – Now Hiring
We’re now accepting applications for the position of Church Custodian, with a start date of June 1. Applications will be open until May 15.
If you or someone you know might be a good fit, we’d love for you to take a look and share it with others.
Building Update: Alarm System
With several recent break-ins at churches in our area, our trustees have installed an alarm system to help us be wise and care well for what God has entrusted to us.
For now, the system will be managed by the trustees, and it won’t affect regular church activities or scheduled gatherings.As this is put fully in place, there may be some updates to building access. We’ll communicate those clearly along the way.

What We Are Celebrating
Consistent Prayer
This past Sunday morning in the Pre-Service Prayer Room I was struck with thankfulness for how we are building a consistent practice of offering prayer on behalf of individuals, families, churches and regions in the Parlour of our building. This space is becoming a place where prayer is continually rising to Him.

We’re grateful for the many people who continue to step in and serve week after week—whether behind the scenes or up front. It takes all of us to be the church, and we’re seeing that lived out in a really encouraging way.
As we look for some folks to step into new roles we want to celebrate the many faithful people who fill important roles on a week by week basis. Thank you for helping us introduce people to Jesus!
One Prayer This Week
Pray for for the shared ministry of the CBAC across Atlantic Canada with CBAC Sunday coming up this week.
