Berwick Baptist Weekly | April 12–18

Here are some of the things happening in our community this week.

What’s Coming Up

Prayer and Bible Study

If you haven’t noticed, we have been busy adding some times on the church calendar for regular Prayer and Bible Study. These are items that we have intentionally added that we desire to become regular habits in the life of our church. May we be people who are devoted to prayer, to God’s word, and to one another! We encourage you to join us in the Prayer Room (Sundays at 10am, Tuesdays at 6:30am, and Wednesdays at 7:30pm) and for Bible Study (Sunday mornings at 9am). See you there!

Senior’s Safety Academy – 17 April @9am

Berwick Baptist Church is currently being used as the venue for the Kings County Senior’s Safety Society’s FREE Senior’s Safety Academy. This involves four sessions during the month of April. They had their first session this past Friday morning. The second session is this coming Friday (17 April). The morning begins at 9:30am (please arrive around 9am for registration) and runs until 12noon. The morning includes snacks and coffee/tea. This week they will be discussing Medications and 72-Hour Emergency Preparedness. Again, this is completely FREE and all Senior’s are welcome to attend!

Rachel MacLean Concert – 26 April @3pm

Berwick Baptist Church will also be the venue for a concert by Rachel MacLean (with special guest Chris Palmer—and our own Andrew Conrad!) on 26 April @3pm in the church sanctuary. Tickets will only be available at the door. Tickets are $15

What We Are Celebrating

Joshua’s Ministry Among Us

This past Sunday, we took some time during our Sunday morning worship service to honour Joshua’s ministry among us during the last several months. It has been a delight to have Joshua with us, and to have been blessed by him. It was a delight as well to have him pray for us (Berwick Baptist Church) on Sunday. I want to encourage each of you to remember him and his family in your prayers—pray for Joshua as he applies for a congregation of his own, and for his family, that they would be able to join him here in Canada. May God richly bless him and his family!

One Prayer This Week

Pray for all the men from our congregation who will be heading to Moncton this Friday for the XY Men’s Conference. Pray that each person who attends will have a meaningful time with one another and at the conference.

Talk soon,

Evan

Berwick Baptist Church

P.S. Caleb is away on a retreat this week. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
