What’s Coming Up

Variety Show- This Sunday, April 27th

We are hosting a Variety Show at the Berwick Legion at 2 pm this Sunday. This will be a time of community engagement around various fun entertainment!

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. One way you can be involved is by selling tickets! Let us know if you would like tickets to sell. Another way to be involved is by contributing baked goods for the intermission bake sale. Baked goods can be dropped off in the church kitchen on Saturday, April 26th, at 4:30 pm.

CBAC Sunday

This Sunday is CBAC Sunday. Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada is the larger denominational body we are a part of in Atlantic Canada. This Sunday is a celebration centred on the hope-filled vision God has given the CBAC family for Atlantic Canada. We will have the chance to see a short video highlighting hopeful ways God is moving in Atlantic Canada.

Church Family Meeting- Heating Proposal

We will have a church family meeting on Sunday, May 4th, at 3:30 p.m. to discuss the heating renovation proposal brought forward by the Renovation Committee. Please continue to pray for God’s leading as we make this major decision as a congregation. We look forward to sharing and discerning the collective wisdom God has given us as a church body on this proposal.

What We Are Celebrating

Holy Week

What a great weekend it was celebrating the death and resurrection of our risen Saviour Jesus Christ and all that means for us. We pray that you leave this Easter weekend with new life in your walk with Jesus. Thank you for joining us this weekend, setting aside time to worship the Lord and give him the praise, honour and glory he is due.

It was beautiful to see the church raise a voice of praise to our victorious God on Easter Sunday! He is risen!

Worship in the Sanctuary

This weekend also included our move back to the sanctuary as our gathering space for Sunday morning worship. For the last few months, we have been filling the space in the Annex, and now that the weather is warming up, we have been able to return to the sanctuary and make room for more! With the additional space available, this would be a great time to consider inviting someone to church with you.

One Prayer This Week

Pray for all who attended church this week who are not followers of Jesus. Pray that the Holy Spirit would be working in their lives, drawing them to Jesus.
